Miss Universe Philippines, Michelle Dee
The Philippines’ own Michelle Dee is one of 86 beauty queens hoping to succeed Filipino-American and reigning Miss Universe R’Bonney Gabriel.
Michelle is determined to restore the Philippines’ reputation in the beauty pageant circuit by securing a spot in the semifinals, following last year’s disappointing early exit, which ended the country’s 12-year streak.
The current competition is making history with the inclusion of its first married and mother contestants, along with two individuals who identify as transgender.

The live coronation night is at Jose Adolfo Pineda Arena, an indoor sport arena in San Salvador.
The preliminary competition is on November 15, 2023 at 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. Central Standard Time or CST. Part of the event are swimsuit and evening gowns segment.
The National Costume show is on November 16, 2023 at 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. Central Standard Time or CST.
The coronation night can be watched in Philippines via streaming on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 9 o’clock in the morning.

Hosts
The hosting line up for this year’s competition are all female.
For the main stage, the main hosts are Maria Menounos, Olivia Culpo, and Jeannie Mai. Zuri Hall and Catriona Gray will be the backstage correspondents.

John Roger Stephens also known as John Legend will be in charge of serenading the the candidates during coronation night.
Aside from being a singer, he is also an actor, song writer, and record producer.
