In a recent interview by the Philippine STAR, the lead stars of ABS-CBN’s suspense drama “Linlang” opened up about their characters and the show’s compelling storyline.
Kim Chiu, who portrays a complex and unconventional character in the series, expressed her excitement about the creative freedom offered by streaming platforms like ABS-CBN Prime Video. She acknowledged her initial nervousness in taking on such a daring role but emphasized her eagerness to challenge herself as an actress.
JM de Guzman, who plays a lawyer in “Linlang,” shared the challenges he faced in portraying a legal professional, given his limited knowledge of legal jargon and procedures. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to learn from his co-stars, including Paulo Avelino, with whom he collaborated for the first time.
Paulo Avelino, who was drawn to the project due to its talented cast and crew, revealed his initial hesitation to accept the role, citing his limited experience working with some of the show’s key players. However, he ultimately agreed to join the project, driven by his desire to explore new acting opportunities.
Avelino also underwent a significant physical transformation for his role in “Linlang,” gaining and losing weight to embody his character’s journey.
